Lee is from Hertfordshire and for the last 10 years prior to coming to Mallorca, was coaching in the Hertfordshire and Middlesex areas, including the Gosling Indoor Tennis Centre, Welwyn Garden City and as the Head Coach at the Hoddesdon Lawn Tennis Club, working with all levels of players from beginner-junior up to senior county level players.

Lee has been coaching in Mallorca since 2003 and was in May 2004 appointed the senior coach at the prestigious Santa Ponsa Country Club. He also offers a re-stringing service.

As a player, Lee was the mens first team captain at all the above clubs.
He played in the National League for singles and competed in the Hertforshire and Middlesex championship divisions for doubles.

In 1995 he won the Bedfordshire county doubles championship and in 1997 he was a Herts county doubles semi finalist. He held the Hoddeston LTC singles championship title from 1997-2002.
